Texas Elks Children’s Service is preparing for its’ 1
st annual Charity Golf Tournament to be held May 1st at the Independence Golf Course in Gonzales, TX. This year Gonzales Elks Lodge #2413 is hosting the event. Golfers from across the state will be participating. This will be one of TECSI’s major fundraisers and proceeds go toward the cost of operating the Texas Elks Camp in Ottine, TX. This camp exists for the sole purpose of providing a unique environment and often life changing experience for children with special needs. Each summer 350 children spend a week at this remarkable camp where the focus is on presenting the children with new character building challenges and first time experiences with an emphasis on building new found confidence and the opportunity to succeed; one they might not have otherwise. The cost of a week at camp to the parents? “$0”.The camp is supported solely through the generosity of companies and individuals like yourself.
We are asking for you generous contribution to this worthy cause. Texas Elks Children’s Services, Inc. (TECSI), is a 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt charitable , non-profit organization, so your contribution or dollar value of merchandise donated is fully tax deductible. I have enclosed an event flyer, sponsorship submission form and an explanation of the contribution levels and what comes with each. We look forward to hearing from you soon in regard to this request. We would like your contribution by no later than April 23rd, 2010.
