The Texas Gulf Coast is taking a beating. Eighteen Texas counties have been declared disaster areas. Texas Elks are working with Elks nationwide, Grand Lodge and local government to help those most effected by Hurricane Harvey.
We need your help identifying those Elks who need assistance. We are asking you to contact Exalted Rulers and District Vice Presidents to have them let us know what they need help with. Grand Lodge has provided a $25,000 emergency grant.
Texas Elks State Association has set up a GoFundMe account. Through your donations and the donations of others, together, we can help our brothers and sisters who need us most right now. There are limited FEMA funds. It is important to help people sign up NOW. Go to https://www.disasterassistance.gov/ and sign up.
